# Pricing & Billing

> Plans, invoicing, usage monitoring, and cost management for Archil

Archil charges based on active data — the data currently cached in our high-speed storage layer.
There are no charges for API calls, egress, or data transfer. For details on how active data is
measured, see [How Metering Works](/concepts/metering).

## What you're charged for

You pay for the time-weighted average of active data across all your disks over each billing
period. That's it — no hidden fees.

* **No egress fees** — reads from your disk are free
* **No API call charges** — control plane operations are free
* **No per-request fees** — mount, unmount, and metadata operations are free

## Monitoring usage

### Per-disk usage

Each disk in the [Archil console](https://console.archil.com) has a **Usage** tab showing a
real-time chart of active data over time. You can view usage across multiple time ranges (6 hours,
24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or all time).

### Account-wide billing

The [Billing](https://console.archil.com/billing) page provides a unified view across all disks
and regions:

* **Current active data** per disk
* **Month-to-date average** and **projected monthly cost** per disk and in total
* **Past billing cycles** with per-disk breakdowns and links to Stripe invoices

## Managing your subscription

You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, and view invoices through the
**Billing** page in the console. Clicking **Manage Billing** opens the Stripe billing portal.

## Enterprise billing

For organizations that need custom pricing, committed spend agreements, volume discounts, or
invoice-based payment (net 30), [contact us](mailto:support@archil.com) to discuss Enterprise
plans.

Enterprise plans also include:

* Custom SLA terms
* Cost allocation by team or project upon request
